Theres no better way to spend your Fall Break than traveling with IC students and giving back. From October 13-16th, there will be three groups of students representing Ithaca College in Toronto, Lake Placid, and right here in Ithaca.
This fall break, students can help the Adirondack Mountain Club groom trails and public access areas before winter with work with the local initiative Ithaca Youth Farm Project, or travel to Toronto to work with Sistering, an organization that supports marginalized and low income women in the Toronto metro area.
The program will run from October 13 – 15 or 16, 2016. There are 5 spaces available for each trip, and students may apply to serve as participant- leaders. Costs for each trip vary, but do not exceed $75.00. Participant-leaders pay a one-time $25.00 deposit.
An AFB info session will be offered on Tuesday, September 20, at 12:10pm in Buttermilk Falls Room (third floor of campus center).
Application closes Friday, September 23, at 5:00pm
