Ithaca College Natural Lands is seeking Committee members and students interested in land management.
Ithaca College faculty, staff, and students manage almost 600 acres of protected natural areas in Tompkins County known as Ithaca College Natural Lands (or ICNL). Most of these lands are in your very own back yard. The ICNL Committee is charged with guiding the management of these natural areas. The Committee welcomes any interested member of the IC community and it meets three times per semester. If you are a user of the Natural Lands for teaching, research, or recreation, consider playing a role in ICNL governance.
ICNL also seeks students interested in learning land management skills (and having a whole lot of fun) to join the Student Intern Training Program. Earn 1-3 credits by meeting Fridays 4-5pm and working on your own schedule in our beautiful forested natural areas.
For more information about either opportunity or express your interest, email Faculty Manager, Jake Brenner, at jbrenner@ithaca.edu.
