Are you interested in creating experiences that are hard to forget? The Ithaca College Sinfonietta wants you to be a part of it in making that happen.
The Sinfonietta is intended for non-music majors to—as Leonard Bernstein once put it—express the unnameable and communicate the unknowable. This ensemble is open to ALL students (regardless of degree major) at Ithaca College who can play in any orchestral instrument including strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. There are no auditions for this ensemble.
The Sinfonietta rehearses every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 7:50pm in the Whalen Center for Music. Interested students should register for the following course (0, 0.5, and 1 credit):
