Dr. Dong has presented papers in various international conferences. In the
past five years she has been invited to universities and international
conferences in Germany, Canada, USA, Greece and Denmark to
lecture at her research area of sport, women and society in China.
She has published hundreds of articles both in Chinese and English
on sport, culture and gender, including the internationally acclaimed
book Women, Sport and Society in the New China published by Cass
Publisher, London in 2003.
