Park Professors honored at Univ Film & Video conference

Assistant Professors of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies Brad Rappa and Jack Bryant won awards at the recent University Film & Video conference.

Bryant won second place in the juried script competition for his script "Our Texas" and Rappa received an award of merit in the experimental film competition for "Fall".

The UFVA is an international organization where media production and writing meet history, theory and criticism. The UFVA members are image-makers and artists, teachers and students, archivists and distributors, college departments, libraries, and manufacturers. UFVA holds an annual conference, this year registering more than 400 attendees, and publishes the Journal of Film and Video, which is currently edited by Associate Professor Stephen Tropiano who also directs our Los Angeles Pendleton Center.
