If you are planning to move to an apartment, already live in one, or are just interested in using energy more wisely, please plan to join us for the SHERP (Student Housing and Energy Reduction Program) workshop on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 6 pm in the Ithaca Falls Room. This free and interactive workshop will last approximately 90 minutes, and will help you understand:
· how to be a sustainably conscientious tenant and use energy wisely
· how to more effectively communicate with your housemates and create a happier home
· your rights and responsibilities as a tenant
· the responsibilities of landlords; and
· how to read and understand your electricity, natural gas, and water bills and usage
This workshop is being presented by the Cornell Cooperative Extension, and will be taught by REMP (Resource and Environmental Management Program) members and local energy experts. Please sign up online at https://orgsync.com/36595/events/1549519/occurrences/3565428
