Curious about the Theatre Arts Management major in the Department of Theatre Arts? Come to an Open House, Wednesday, September 21st from 7-8:30pm in Job 160. You will *EAT PIZZA*, meet Theatre Arts Management students, meet the faculty who teach and advise TAMs and learn about TAM opportunities, on and off campus.

The TAM degree is a Bachelor of Science degree, with required courses in the Department of Theatre Arts, the School of Business and the Park School. Courses that are focused specifically for TAM majors are: Theatre Organization & Management, Producing for the Theatre, Fundraising for the Performing Arts, and Promotion & Publicity for the Performing Arts. TAM students provide support for the IC Theatre main stage season by selling tickets, house managing, selling concessions, planning special events, and promoting the productions.

The TAM degree prepares students for the following professions: producing theatre, arts marketing, fundraising, company management, theatre operations, and many others. If a career in theatre management sounds exciting to you, come to the Open House and find out more. We’d love to meet you!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Susan Monagan at smonagan@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3915. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
