Choral Collage

Choir and Women’s Chorale conducted by Janet Galvan Chorus and Madrigal Singers conducted by Sean Linfors.  |  Choir:  “At the Heart of Humanity” -- music of Chilcott, Esenvalds, Dello Joio, and Moses Hogan.  Women’s Chorale:  Nicola Porpora’s Magnificat.  Madrigals:  music of Parsons, Tomkins, Wilbye and Hoekman.  Chorus:  Brunner’s “I Am in Need of Music” plus music of Arnesen, Thomas, and Guillaume.  This concert will be webstreamed live at www.ithaca.edu/music/live.

The Gershwins’ PORGY AND BESS
by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin 

Opera Noire will comprise the principals of this concert performance with the Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers and students from the Ithaca College School of Music, the Southside Community Childrens’ Chorus, and the Symphony Orchestra, with guest conductor Leslie Dunner.

Students $5, General Public $10.  Tickets on sale at https://ithaca.ticketforce.com.    Tickets available in person or by phone starting September 12 at the Dillingham Box Office, (607) 274-3224 Mon - Thur 12-5PM and Fri 12-4PM.  Sales at the door (if available) will be cash only.
