The campus community is invited to attend any and all of the 26 presentations during the Music and Lifelong Learning Symposium that will be held in the School of Music during the Fall Break (October 13-15, 2016). Link to the schedule of presentations and times can be found at http://events.ithaca.edu/event/music_and_lifelong_learning_symposium#.V_PIM8mRZ6w
The School of Music is sponsoring a symposium surrounding life long adult and community music making that will offer research and presentations from 35 participants from around the globe. The symposium is also honoring the 25th anniversary of New Horizons Music (a program that allows adults of all ages to begin or continue playing instruments in ensemble settings) and its founder Dr. Roy Ernst, who will be in attendance. Take a break from your Fall Break and hear some of the latest research on Adult and Community Lifelong Learning in Music!
