Due to the high demand for seats in Acting I (THEA 13100), freshmen and sophomores can rarely enroll in the class. The Department of Theatre Arts offers one section exclusively for freshmen and sophomores, available by audition.
The class, THEA 13100-04, CRN 41810, is taught by Judith Levitt and meets Spring 2017, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:50 to 12:05 in Dillingham Studio 5.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, with two sessions from 12:00 to 12:50 and 5:00 to 5:50. No preparation is required. There will be cold readings and/or improvisations. Those who audition will need to arrive at the beginning of the audition session and stay until the end.
Students who have successfully auditioned for the class will receive notification that they may register for the class during the registration period.
Please sign up for an audition slot and obtain an audition form by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25th at the Department of Theatre Arts Main Office, Dillingham 226. Auditions are limited to 20 persons per session, first come, first served.
