ITHACA, NY, October 25 - HiFashion Studios, Ithaca College’s only fashion-centered student organization, has announced its Fall 2016 show. The event will take place on Thursday, November 17th at 7:00 PM in Emerson Suites at Ithaca College with the theme “Sporting Gold.” Admission for this event is free and open to the public.

Since 2010, HiFashion Studios has presented two runway shows a year, completely organized by Ithaca College students. This year’s theme “Sporting Gold” is inspired by athletic clothing, a healthy lifestyle, with a touch of the Olympics. The event will showcase pieces from stores such as Rue21, Ann Taylor LOFT, and others from the Waterloo outlets. Outfits will be created by the organization’s stylist team who look to promote body positivity while paying tributes to the recent athleisure trend.

“Athleisure is one of the most comfortable high-fashion trends that we’ve seen in awhile. Sneakers and sweatpants promote a level of self-confidence in not caring what others think, as well as a healthy lifestyle,” says Andrea Wollin, HiFashion Studios Creative Executive.

This event is open to the campus and public community. Admission is free for all attendees. Please email prssa.ic@gmail.com with the number of attendees in your party and tickets will be sent to you.
