Two long-time and valued members of the Park School community will be retiring soon, and at our annual Park holiday dish-to-pass luncheon on Wednesday December 14 at noon in Park 223 we will be honoring them. Their friends and colleagues across campus are welcome to join us.
Associate Professor Mara Alper will be retiring at the end of this semester. She joined the TVR faculty in 1998 and has taught a variety of video production courses as well as special seminars in her area of interest: sustainability and water. She's an avid traveler whose work has been shot and screened in many international locations including Bali, India, Korea and Mexico.
Eloise Greene joined IC in 1985 as advisor to ICTV, and then transitioned to being our internship coordinator in 2007; she took on expanded duties as professional development coordinator in 2010 including being an integral part of the S'Park teaching team and has been active in assisting with the ICNYC program. She will retire in mid-January.
We hope that friends and colleagues of Mara and Eloise will stop by; it's not necessary to bring food, but memorabilia and nostalgic stories are very welcome.
