SLPA Clinical Faculty and Local SLP Publish Article about Program for Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology clinical faculty members, Jana Waller, Marie Sanford, and Tina Caswell and Spencer Van-Etten Central School District SLP, Christine Bainbridge, published an article in the December issue of Perspectives of the ASHA Special Interest Groups-SIG 16, School-Based Issues.

In their article, “Comprehensive Social Communication Support for Improving Transitions for Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),” the authors describe ICREATE, a program they developed for preparing adolescents with ASD for successful transitions from high school into college, independent living, and the workforce.
