Leadership Weekend is a two-day retreat that brings together first year students from a variety of roles on campus to learn from each other and discover new ways to demonstrate leadership. Participants attend a series of leadership development sessions that focus on team-building and further developing individual leadership skills. This is also an opportunity to earn 3 Leading Self credits for the Student Leadership Institute (SLI)!
Who is this retreat for?
All Ithaca College first-year students, including transfer students, are eligible to apply and highly encouraged to do so. This retreat is designed to encourage emerging leaders to discuss their own thoughts on leadership, to connect with other student leaders, and to further their involvement at Ithaca College.

What are the logistics of this event?
Leadership Weekend will be held February 10-11, 2017. Leadership Weekend is held off campus at Casowasco Retreat Center in Moravia, NY. Lodging, meals, transportation and retreat materials are provided for all attendees. Leadership Weekend begins on Friday afternoon and concludes on Saturday evening. All participants must travel with the group and must attend the program in its entirety.
How do I know if I've been selected to attend?
Following the selection process, all applicants will be notified by e-mail of their application status.
Applications must be submitted by December 31st.
