"13th" -Black History Month Film and Dialogue

Slavery. Jim Crow. Criminalization. Links in a chain of racial inequality, forged by political and economic motives. In this thought-provoking documentary by Ava DuVernay, scholars, activist, and politicians analyze the criminalization of African-American and Black individuals and the U.S. Prison Boom.

The film will be screened at 7pm and a dialogue led by the Brothers 4 Brothers exec board will immediately follow.
