On Thursday, March 23rd at 9:00 AM in Klingenstein Lounge, join us for a conversation about the barriers and potential solutions to how women can lead innovation in edtech.  This session will provide a forum for all participants to engage in a meaningful conversation about ways women are leading, and why it is important for their voice to be a part of the conversation and ways women’s ideas can be heard no matter where in the organization they are. The conversation will highlight the unique contributions and perspectives women’s innovations contribute to edtech and the barriers they often confront, fostering a deeper appreciation about why inclusivity is vital to education technology. The goals of the session include developing strategies for understanding the value of women leading in IT, overcoming gender barriers women may experience in higher ed and IT, supporting women in advancing in IT, enhancing the support of women in leadership roles, and empowering women, junior and senior, in IT.

This is one of over 50 sessions that are part of our 27th Annual Educational Technology Day at Ithaca College on Thursday, March 23rd from 9 AM to 4 PM in the Campus Center. No registration is required for members of the Ithaca College community. Complete information is available on the Ed Tech Day Website: www.ithaca.edu/edtechday
