“Working with Students who are Experiencing Academic Challenges”
February 23, 12:10 – 1:00 pm, Taughannock Falls Room, 3rd Floor Campus Center.
The Center for Academic Advancement (CAA) will present information about the Academic Alert Program (AAP) that faculty and staff can utilize to relay information about a student who may need academic assistance. Representatives from the Academic Advising Center, Tutoring Services and Student Accessibility Services will describe how they support and assist our students. A "Spring Fling Breakfast Social" will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 8:30 – 10:30am in Clark Lounge. Join the Educational Affairs Staff Development Committee for a casual continental breakfast. “Assisting Undecided Students” will be on April 4, 12:10 – 1:00 pm, in Clark Lounge. Hear from Elizabeth Bleicher, Director of the Exploratory Program, and Christina Moylan, Coordinator of the HSHP Pre-professional Program about ways we can all work to assist our undecided students in working toward a major and career plan.
