RE:Thinking: A Film About Education in America
The future of our society depends on the creativity and competence of the young people who are currently making their way through our education system.
RE:Thinking offers a new hope for public education, by exploring three American public schools over the course of three years, each of which creates a culture of intellectual life in classrooms that respects the whole child as a learner and an adult-in-training.
These schools successfully meet public education standards while embracing a culture that values thinking over memorizing information.
RE:Thinking shows the powerful, positive change that occurs when teachers and students are empowered to be active participants in building knowledge.
