02/27/17

Contributed by Lisa Corewyn

Information session for Primate Behavior and Ecology Field School in Costa Rica offered this summer through Study Abroad (pending final approval) – Thurs, March 2nd, 5:00-6:00 pm, Williams 118. All are welcome!

Learn to study monkeys in their natural habitat! Students will gain practical experience in studying the behavior and ecology of a population of wild howler monkeys in Costa Rica, and gain hands on experience in wild animal capture as part of the darting, capture, and marking team. Directed to students interested in biological anthropology, primatology, tropical ecology, conservation, animal behavior, and field biology. There are no prerequisites, though some background in primatology/biology/animal behavior is helpful (even an intro Bio Anth class works!).

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Lisa Corewyn at lcorewyn@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1384. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
