Want to show YOUR ART/PHOTOS at the SENIOR STUDENT SHOW at the Handwerker Gallery??

Do you want your art or photos to be exhibited in the Senior Student show at the Handwerker Gallery from April 27th to May 21st? Read more to find out if you are eligible to apply!

First, in order to apply you must be:

A graduating Senior of IC (May ’17 or Dec ‘17)
Taken either 2 or more classes in the Art Dept. OR enrolled in the Fall ‘16 or Spring ’17 Senior Project/Exhibition class in the CPMA Dept.

If you are eligible, to apply you must:

For Art Dept.

Drop off 1-4 works in a storage vessel to Denise Vanderburgh in Ceracche
Each work must have an Approval Form attached (forms on Denise’s desk)
And print off a short artist statement, label information, and intent to display for each work

For CPMA Dept.

Drop off 1-4 images (high resolution, jpeg/pdf preferred) to Rhonda Vanover in Park
And a Word Doc with an artist statement, label information, and intent to display for each work

Artist statement: 75-100 words describing your artistic practice/general philosophy.

Label Info: Name/Title/Date/Medium/Dimensions (unframed) in inches. H x W for 2D; H x W x D for 3D. (For irregular works, measure widest point)

Intent to display: How will your works be displayed? As a diptych? In frames? On the floor/podium? Printed on what kind of photo paper? With space between, or flush? Be informative but brief.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT WORK IS MARCH 27TH AT 5:00 PM

On March 29-31 you will be notified about your submission status and will receive an email with more information regarding deadlines and meetings with the gallery.
