The following scholarships are available for the 2017-18 academic year.
Jack H. Dembow ’77 Scholarship for LGBT Students
The Jack H. Dembow ’77 Scholarship for LGBT Students has been generously created by Jack H. Dembow.
This scholarship is for a student with academic promise and financial need who shows demonstrated service, leadership or achievement to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Preference will be given to a self-identified LGBT student.
The next award will be made for the 2017-18 academic year. If you think you qualify, please submit your name, e-mail address, and a paragraph detailing your service, leadership or achievement to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by Friday, March 31, to Luca Maurer at lmaurer@ithaca.edu.
Nathan L. Lewis Memorial Scholarship
The Nathan L. Lewis Memorial Scholarship has been generously created by Robert S. Lewis and his family in honor and memory of his father, Nathan L. Lewis.
This scholarship is for a student who has studied in a Jewish day school for a minimum of four years and a maximum of 12 years, and who has demonstrated financial need.
The next award will be made for the 2017-18 academic year. If you think you qualify, please submit your name, e-mail address, and the name of the Jewish day school where you studied by Friday, March 31, to Jessica Fernando at jfernando@ithaca.edu.
Erin Marie Masling Memorial Scholarship
The Erin Marie Masling Memorial Scholarship was generously created by Erin’s family in her memory.
This scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior, or senior with a grade point average of 3.0 or greater. It was established to support and assist a student to live his or her life to the fullest, having overcome or managed a chronic illness or physical disability, as Erin did. Financial need is not a consideration.
