“The Brand Called You.” This weekend mini course will teach students how to create a personal brand and deliver a strong pitch to help them secure a freelance position, or land a full-time job in a creative production house, agency, or organization. Students will learn how to build their individual brand and “harness the power of social media to stand out in the job market.” In addition, students will be able to write and deliver an effective elevator pitch, perfect their interviewing skills and learn the do’s and don’ts of a good pitch deck presentation. Each student will present a 5-minute pitch deck on the last day of class.
