Fantasy Author Tamora Pierce at ITHACON, Sunday March 26

Renowned fantasy writer Tamora Pierce – is the creator of the Tortall Universe cycles of novels, and of the Circle Universe cycles of novels. She has created many memorable and beloved characters, including the warrior woman Alanna of The Song of the Lioness quartet, the first series within the Tortall universe; the spymaster Alianne, daughter of Alanna and principle character of the Tricksters cycle of books; and Keladrin, of the cycle Protector of the Small, the first openly female character within the Tortall world who becomes a knight

 

Pierce will be our Keynote Speaker on Sunday,  answering all fans’ questions about Tortall at 1pm in Klingenstein Lounge; she will also host a “Conversation with Young People” from 3-4pm Saturday and an "All-ages Conversation 3-4pm on Sunday.  She will be signing books on both days.
