The Ithaca College American Marketing Association (ICAMA) will be hosting Jeremy Menard and Nick Karski from ESPN Ithaca on Monday, March 27th, from 7 p.m. to around 7:45 p.m. in Business 111. They will be discussing their experiences in the field and will answer student questions on a variety of subjects.
This is an amazing opportunity for students interested in the sports marketing/media fields or students interested in radio advertising. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to attend!
Nick Karski is the lead Play-by-Play Voice, Reporter, and Traffic Director at WPIE, Ithaca’s ESPN Radio affiliate, ESPN Ithaca. A three-time New York State Broadcasters Association award winner, he has called over 350 local sporting events, anchors local SportsCenter Updates, hosts the weekly football talk show “Gameday” during the season, and is responsible for the managing and scheduling of commercial advertising.
Jeremy Menard is the Operations Manager & Program Director at WPIE, Ithaca’s ESPN Radio affiliate, ESPN Ithaca. He oversees the station’s day-to-day on-air operation, manages the internship program and hosts the local afternoon talk show, “Between the Lines.”
