The Blameless is a play about trauma and forgiveness. How do we incorporate loss into our lives, recognizing it as a permanent part of who we now are while finding the fortitude to move forward? How does a family find a new shape when one of its members is gone? And can we forgive, even if we can never understand? With surprising humor as well as compassion, The Blameless asks us to ponder these questions.

The cast of The Blameless includes Kathleen Mulligan and Dean Robinson (faculty, Theatre), Fiorella Fernandez and Skyler Sims-Dickson (students, Theatre), and two guest artists: Frank Pando and Marcia C. Rivera. Claire Gleitman (faculty, English) will direct; Kiefer Harrington (student, Theatre) is assistant directing; and Jada Boggs (student, Theatre/Communication Studies) and Jess Schrading (student, Theatre/English) are stage managing.

The Blameless is the final event in the New Voices Festival lineup of readings, panels, and special performances. Please check out the schedule of events for April 5-7 at the festival website: www.ithacanewvoicesfestival.com.
