Tomorrow (Thursday, April 13th) at 7 PM in Williams 313, China Care Club and Adoption Support and Awareness Alliance will be co-hosting a joint general body meeting entitled "Adoptee Identity: Culture, Stereotypes, and Family."
There will be pizza, snacks, a movie screening, and an open dialogue about how culture, stereotypes, and family play a role in how adoptees view themselves and the world around them.
You do not need to be adopted to attend, though we do encourage adoptees to come by and share their experiences. This is an opportunity for people from all backgrounds and childhood/family experiences to come together and share stories, insights, and opinions on the topic.
Feel free to stop by for part or all of the event.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact IC China Care Club at ic.halfthesky@gmail.com. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
