The Climate Study Workgroup (CSWG) will host two campus presentations on Tuesday, April 25th. The presentations will be held in Textor Hall 103 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. and from 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Rankin & Associates, the consulting firm who conducted the survey and analyzed the results, will be giving the presentations and sharing their key findings from the study. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend and review the Executive Summary Report in advance, which will be posted on the Campus Climate Survey website the week before the presentations.

Sharing Results

After the presentations, the following information will be made available on the Campus Climate Survey website:

·        The slides from the presentation.

·        The entire Climate Study Report created by Rankin & Associates

·        Instructions for requesting access to the data for research purposes.

Collecting Feedback and Suggestions

The leaders of the Climate Study Workgroup are eager to collect feedback and suggestions from community members related to the survey results before many students and faculty leave campus at the end of the spring semester.

Please save the date and plan to attend one of the open sessions to be held on Thursday, May 4, from 12:10-1:30 p.m. and from 4-5:30 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Taughannock Falls conference room in the Campus Center. The sessions will be structured so that small groups of attendees can discuss the findings and reflect on what improvements the campus can make immediately.

Additionally, for those who can’t attend, a form will be shared on the Climate Survey website to collect suggestions. All of the responses to the form will be shared with the leaders of the Climate Study Work Group.

The college is committed to using the findings from the study to improve our campus climate and make our community as welcoming and supportive as possible.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey.
