Psychology Associate Professor Leigh Ann Vaughn has published "Data from foundational tests of the need-support model: A framework for bridging regulatory focus theory and self-determination theory" in the Journal of Open Psychology Data. She published the initial paper on the need-support model in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin earlier this year.

The Journal of Open Psychology Data publishes peer-reviewed data papers that describe datasets with high reuse potential. A data paper describes the methods of creating the dataset, the structure of the dataset, and its potential for reuse. It also includes a link to the publicly-accessible repository where readers can find the data paper.

This dataset contains responses from over 2,100 participants. Researchers and teachers could use these data to examine or teach replicability, such as by demonstrating how effect sizes can vary across direct replications of a study.
