Asia Night is the largest event of Focus Asia Month and is a continuing tradition. It will be held in Emerson Suites on April 28 (Friday) at 6pm. This night celebrates the students on campus and allows them to display their various talents. Asia Night consists of student performances, food, and engaging activities in which the IC community can appreciate the beauty in Asian cultures while gaining an understanding of how these cultural practices have permeated and influenced the Western context.
We are excited to host Nix, known for her YouTube channel, ukewithme, at Asia Night! She will be performing at 8 PM and will have a meet-and-greet session afterward. Nix is best known for her ukulele cover of Nicki Minaj's "Superbass" and her YouTube channel has over 235,000 subscribers and over 27,000,000 views.
