In cooperation with the Finger Lakes Project, our friends at Wells College are hosting a 1.5 day training workshop (“Preparing Students for the 21st Century through Sustainability Education”) on May 25 and 26.  Those in attendance will be eligible to apply for mini-grants for successfully implementing the workshop contents into their sustainability curriculum development.  During the workshop, participants will:

·        Receive coaching on how to develop outcome-based sustainability curricula;

·        Learn how to integrate all three sustainability pillars into classes of any discipline; and

·        Explore curriculum models that integrate diverse modalities into age-appropriate, engaging, and content-rich learning.

The registration fee covers all meals and the workshop materials.  The “early bird” rate of $100 is good through May 10.  After that the regular workshop fee is $150.  On-campus lodging is available for those wishing to stay overnight.  Please see the conference web site for additional details.  If you are interested in car / van pooling from IC, please contact Rebecca Evans or Greg Lischke.
