IC Autism Speaks U is Ithaca College's chapter for the national non-profit organization, Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks U is a program that supports students, faculty and alumni in their awareness, advocacy and fundraising efforts for Autism Speaks. We are looking for a new academic advisor, as our previous advisor Skott Jones is going on sabbatical this upcoming fall. Roles of an advisor would include: approving the budget and any additional budget requests as well as serving as a consultant to the group (i.e. for possible topics and speakers, guest present at meetings, and attend campus events).
