In order to improve the user experience and add features to Sakai DIIS is planning an upgrade on August 14th, 2017. There will be two information sessions during finals week that will provide an overview of the new features, present a timeline, outline training opportunities, and answer questions.
Both sessions are in Job 312.
In order to keep faculty members informed, Teaching and Learning with Technology has created a web site to provide continuous updates to the timeline, new features, FAQs, training, support, and development opportunities: https://www.ithaca.edu/diis/services/iss/Sakai/sakai11/
All content created prior to August 14th will be available after the transition so faculty members can build Fall courses at any time. Summer session Sakai sites will not change at all.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Marilyn Dispensa at mdispensa@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3647. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
