After 16 years at Ithaca College, Dr. Suki Montgomery Hall, psychologist and Assistant Director at CAPS, has decided to make a professional change and is moving on to expand her private practice in Ithaca.
The Counseling Center at Ithaca College was Suki’s first professional home, and during her years here, she has been a resource for thousands of students. She is a skilled clinician and a thoughtful and caring colleague. In her time here, she has led CAPS’ efforts to develop a thriving group therapy program. She currently serves as a representative in the Division of Group Psychology in the New York State Psychological Association. In her career at the College, she has advocated for the mental health needs of our students through her work in leading the Mental Health Response Team and most recently, through membership on the Student Success Committee. We are sad to see her leave, while at the same time sharing her excitement about her future providing mental health services to the larger Ithaca community.
Suki has expressed her gratitude to the College and for the community of generous and intelligent professionals who work with integrity and a shared love of students. Her last day at the College is June 30th.
Please join the staff of Counseling, Health and Wellness at an informal reception from 1:00 to 2:30 pm on June 30, in the Klingenstein Lounge, in the Campus Center. Did I say we’re sad? Come wish her well and cheer us up with your stories!
