The Facilities Department – working in concert with our colleagues in Procurement – are happy to announce that Ithaca College has partnered with GovDeals to provide IC surplus auction items for online viewing, bidding and purchase. This will help the College reduce storage costs and will take the place of the annual Surplus Sale that was held in the A&E center in past years.

The new online system will give the Ithaca College and Tompkins County communities the ability to view and bid on various auction items at their convenience. We plan to continuously update https://www.govdeals.com and https://www.facebook.com/ithacacollegesurplus/ with surplus inventory and we encourage everyone to try out the new online system. There will be items available such as; pianos, appliances, desks, office chairs, tables, and various specialty items.

GovDeals is open to Ithaca's students, faculty, staff and the entire Tompkins County community.

Customers will receive access to all of Ithaca College's surplus items after a simple, secure online registration process here, https://www.govdeals.com/register/ .

GovDeals has been helping Universities and Government establishments sell surplus assets since 2008. We are pleased to offer this service to College and the larger community.
