Chivalry, passion, and betrayal! The timeless tale of King Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot, and the Knights of the Round Table, set against a backdrop of lush green fields and Cayuga Lake at sunset, and featuring the classic Broadway songs, “If ever I would leave you,” “The lusty month of May,” and - of course - “Camelot!”
The performances will be August 3, 4, 5, and 6 at 7:00 pm, with a rain date of August 7. It will be held at the CRS Barn Studio, 2622 N. Triphammer Road, Ithaca, NY 14850, on the outdoor stage.
Numerous Ithaca College community members will be performing in this summer's production by Triphammer Arts. Voice faculty Ivy Walz and Thomas Erik Angerhofer play Guenevere and Lancelot, with additional cast members Scott Stull (Anthropology), Dan Taylor (Library Services), Rachel Silverstein ('17), Fiona Dolan ('17), and Joshua Dykes (grad).
Outdoor seating is provided at the venue. Several green and shady locations suitable for a pre-performance picnic are also available. The grounds and box office open at 6 p.m., one hour before show time. Ticket prices are $20 general public, $18 seniors, $15 students. Young children are admitted free of charge.
