As new students and their families arrive this weekend to move in, we would like to ensure a positive and welcoming start at Ithaca College for these members of our community. To enable them to park as close as possible to their residence hall and ease their unloading and moving process, several lots will be reserved to keep spaces available for these new arrivals. Staff, faculty, and students already on campus are asked to be aware of these closures as described below, and to have their vehicles removed from these lots by Saturday evening.
A-Lot (near Rowland Hall), J-Lot (behind the Towers), M-Lot (at the A&E Center), and D-Lot (between Clarke and Bogart Halls) will be closed beginning Saturday, August 26th at 7pm and throughout the day on Sunday, August 27th.
We recommend that students who normally park in A-Lot move their cars to C-Lot. Students and employees who normally park in J-Lot should move their cars to L-Lot near the Terraces. Students who park in D-Lot should move their cars to S or O-Lots. Students and employees who park in M-Lot can also move their cars to O-Lot. Lot names and locations can be reviewed on the campus map available at www.ithaca.edu/map/#parking.
