The Office of Judicial Affairs is seeking Staff and Faculty Justices for the 2017-2018 academic year who are interested in serving on Conduct Review Board hearings regarding cases of alleged sexual misconduct, domestic/dating violence, and stalking. Justices serving on these cases are required to attend a training session that will be provided by the staff from the Advocacy Center during the early part of the fall 2017 semester. The date and time will be determined based on their availability.

In addition, we are seeking faculty and staff members to volunteer for an advisor position for students involved in cases of alleged sexual misconduct. The advisors will be part of a pool available to alleged survivors and alleged perpetrators as they go through the Conduct Review Board process. The advisors will be able to offer support and direction for a student throughout the process including attendance at the Conduct Review Board hearing. If you are interested in one or both of these roles or have questions about the position, please contact Mike Leary, Assistant Director of Judicial Affairs, at 607-274-3375 or mleary@ithaca.edu by Friday, September 15, 2017.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Office of Judicial Affairs at 607-274-3375 or email judaff@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
