1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men will be sexually assaulted in college. Let's make these statistics 0.  Join us as we race to end sexual assault on campus.

As a partnership between Ithaca college, Cornell University and The New Agenda Foundation, a group of Ithaca College and Cornell students are hosting a race to dismantle rape culture and engage college students, campus administration, and other advocates in raising awareness of, and transforming behavior related to, sexual assault on campus.

What: A 5k or 1 mile walk/run

When: October 14th at 12:30 p.m. (registration begins at 12:00 p.m.)

Where: Cornell Botanical Gardens/Arboretum (1 Plantations Rd. Ithaca, NY 14850)

All proceeds will go towards educational materials, outreach and programming for The New Agenda Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls by bringing about systemic change in the media, at the workplace, at school, and at home.

 REGISTER and donate at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2017-cornell-universityic-stopp5k-walkrun-to-end-sexual-assault-on-campus-registration-36485170126

Registration is just $10 for students and includes a free t-shirt.

This is an important and unique opportunity to engage the two large campus communities in Ithaca and create a dialogue that will spark action on the issue of sexual assault.
