The Off-campus Application Process for the 2018-2019 Academic Year will begin on Monday, October 30, 2017.
Residential Life will begin to accept applications for off campus living for the 2018-2019 Academic Year for all rising juniors beginning on Monday, October 30, 2017. Information about the application process may be found on the Residential Life website. At this time, only rising juniors (students who currently have lived in on campus housing for 2 or 3 semesters) may apply. We will open an off-campus approval process for rising sophomores only if we do not meet the off-campus approval target with applications from rising juniors.
Please be aware that due to an increased number of campus housing vacancies this fall semester, Residential Life expects to release a limited number of non-seniors to live off-campus for 2018-2019. As a result some of the rising juniors who apply to live off-campus may not be approved. Students should not sign any leases before they receive written approval by the Office of Residential Life to move off campus. Students who apply and are not approved for off-campus release will be placed on an off-campus wait list. It is possible that circumstances could allow for additional off-campus releases in the spring or summer, but equally possible that students on the wait list will not receive off-campus approval. Please refer to the Ithaca College Residency Policy.
Off campus applications from rising juniors will be accepted Monday, October 30, 2017 through 5:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2017. All off campus applications including students on the off campus wait list will be prioritized by the date and time of the last piece of the application received.
