Abstract: What can you do with a math degree? Accounting, finance, and computer programming might come to mind, but what about writing and journalism? Whether you are interested in a career as a math and science communicator at a magazine or museum or just need to be able to explain technical aspects of your latest project to your coworkers, communication is essential in all sorts of math and science careers. I'll talk about the meandering path I took into my career as a math and science writer and some career and communication tips for people interested in becoming better STEM communicators.
