FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1ST 12:10 - 1PM, ITHACA FALLS ROOM: Please join the Office of Energy Management & Sustainability in an informative presentation discussing energy challenges and opportunities both at Ithaca College and across the country.
Two-thirds of the energy consumed in the U.S. is ultimately wasted in the form of lost heat and other system inefficiencies. This talk will review different energy sources, how they are used in the U.S., and the costs and benefits associated with each source. We will also discuss the College's sustainability commitments and strategies to reach our climate neutrality goals.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Rebecca Evans at revans1@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3763. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
