Hello, scholars!
It’s that time of year again! ZoetIC, a publication sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society, is soliciting original submissions from current students and alumni of Ithaca College.
There will be FIVE sections that you can submit to this year: Poetry, Prose, Drama, Personal Essay, and Critical Essay.
Pieces should be submitted to zoetic.submissions@gmail.com. In the subject line, please indicate the section to which you are submitting and your full name. Submit all pieces as Word attachments. Within the body of the e-mail, please indicate the best way we may reach you, as well as if there is a particular professor who was instrumental in the creation of the submission and/or you would like to work with during the revising period. You may submit multiple pieces, but please submit each piece in its own e-mail.
The deadline is early spring semester, Friday, March 10th.
All pieces will be considered for publication, but there is an advantage to submitting early! ZoetIC members will be in contact with submitters, providing suggestions to polish pieces for potential publication, and the more time they have to work with you, the better your chances are for being selected for the final publication.
