"Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution" (- Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  March 31, 1968, National Cathedral , Washington D.C.)

The Ithaca College MLK Campus-Wide Celebration Committee invites you to join us this week (January 23-28) as we honor the true life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  2018, marks the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King's assassination (April 4, 1968, Memphis’ Lorraine Motel).

This week of engagement and discourse has been designed to encourage all participants to be aware of our ever changing world, shorten the distance between ourselves and the issues, and to recognize our power to effect social change through our various platforms and positions.

We look forward to sharing space with you as we connect, discuss, learn, challenge, practice in real time, and serve our community. For a full list of events please visit

Any edits or changes to the schedule will be posted here, daily. All questions, comments, or feedback should be directed to the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (607)274-3222 or OSEMA@ithaca.edu.

Thank you!
