RLS 23800 - Leisure and Aging

Explores the role of leisure in the aging process. Students analyze the effects of incorporating meaningful leisure activities into the lifestyles of older individuals, based on their needs and interests. Visits to facilities and interaction with older individuals in leisure settings demonstrate the importance of leisure to a healthy lifestyle for older individuals.

Prerequisites: RLS 10100 or GERO 10100  
3.000 Credit hours 
3.000 Lecture hours
