The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a psychological assessment tool used to help people understand and make decisions about many facets of life, including career development. In these sessions (offered every other week) students will learn the components and general applications of the MBTI, as well as receive their own customized MBTI Career Report*.

Students must visit Career Services during drop-in hours (M-Th 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) to talk with a Career Coach before attending the MBTI or Strong Interest Inventory sessions to determine the appropriate instrument to fit your needs, as well as receive instructions for taking them.

To sign up for an MBTI Group Interpretation session, students must register using their Handshake account:

  1. Go to: https://ithaca.joinhandshake.com/
  2. Log in using your Netpass information
  3. On the left navigation panel, click on “Events”
  4. Click on the session/date you wish to attend
  5. Click the "Join Event" button
