Mentors Matter: The Why's and How's of Women Finding Professional Mentors

Mentorship comes in various forms and has been proven to contribute to success in the workplace. However, many women face unique challenges when it comes to securing a professional mentor, particularly women whose identities intersect with additional underrepresented populations. Consequently, women are less likely to have a mentor who could provide invaluable work and life advice, support and advocacy for securing jobs and promotions, etc. Come to this session to learn about who you should look for, strategies for finding professional mentors you feel comfortable with, maintaining the relationships, and even being a mentor yourself!
