As we near the end of the fiscal year, the Planning, Design, and Construction department in the Office of Facilities would like to remind anyone planning to purchase new furniture, out of their departmental budget, to contact Jess Archer, Interior Design Coordinator, at jarcher@ithaca.edu or 4-1601, to schedule a time to meet and discuss possible procurement. We are heading into PD&C’s busiest time of year; As such, scheduling meetings and acquiring estimates will take time, so please allow adequate notice. New furniture orders MUST be placed no later than March 15th in order to ensure the lead time for delivery and invoicing takes place before June 1st.
As a reminder, we will attempt to locate furniture in our surplus supply to fulfill your needs for furniture so that we remain fiscally and environmentally sustainable. If we cannot find an adequate piece in our inventory, a quote will be generated. New furniture is purchased through the individual department’s budget.
