 Women In Business would like to invite you to our first annual conference, Badass Women Doing Work .

 Hello,

Women In Business would like to invite you to our first annual conference, Badass Women Doing Work . Badass Women Doing Work is a collaboration between student groups here on campus and Women in Business Network. The conference will highlight the female experience in the workforce, but have a focus on incredible work being in done our greater community.

This conference will take place March 3rd from 10:00AM-3:40PM.

There will be several breakout sessions with options to choose which event to attend each counting for career connection. Food and beverages will be provided.

How do you make in up the corporate ladder? Audience members are encouraged to bring questions. This panel included Ithaca college faculty that have experiences in the workforce and making their way through corporate America. We will be hearing about their experiences, lessons, and advice from along the way.

~Harassment in the Workplace: IC Girl Up EMERSON A

IC Girl Up will be partnering with Linda Koenig Title XI coordinator and the Women’s Advocacy Center to tackle the tough issue of workplace harassment. Living in the #metoo and “TimesUp”  era discussion and open dialogue is very important to contributing to a brighter future.

She is a talented and seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 25 years of experience in the tv, digital, mobile and media industries with a focus on the beauty, fashion and lifestyle categories. Her newest venture, Scentinvent Technologies is a re-think on the fragrance category which converges technology, innovation and luxury.

PhD in African American and African Diaspora Studies  M.A. in Women’s Studies

I am a pleasure seeking activist, visual artist, and scholar. Unapologetically, I am Black and sexually liberated. I use visual and sonic culture as tools of empowerment for Black girls and women to define and embrace their bodies, seek pleasure and heal themselves. The driving force behind my research is social justice and Black liberation.

I'm a Dangerous Black femme.

                          ~Open Dialogue LGBTQ+: Spectrum Emerson A

Spectrum will be leading an open dialogue discussion of sexual identity, sexual orientation, and everything else in-between. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
