Walter Byongsok Chon, Assistant Professor of Dramaturgy and Theatre Studies in the Theatre Arts Department, was invited to On TAP, a Theatre and Performance Studies Podcast series, to talk about the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
He joins Sarah Bay-Cheng (Bowdoin College), Harvey Young (Boston University), and Pannill Camp (Washington University in St. Louis) on a discussion about the Olympics’ opening ceremony as a mass spectacle performance and the implication of the Olympics in a national and international context.
