Technology Seminars and Exhibits at Ed Tech Day 2018 - Thursday, March 22nd

Please join us for our 28th annual Educational Technology Day which will be held on Thursday, March 22nd, from 9 AM to 3 PM in the Campus Center.

The day will be filled with 40+ seminars, discussions and over 60 technology-related vendors. 

The event is free, and open to all - no registration is required for faculty, staff or students. 

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THIS YEAR INCLUDE:

• Learn about autonomous vehicles – and see Cornell’s Autonomous Car!
• Hear about collegiate eSports – what’s happening at colleges around the country
• Learn about Assistive technologies
• See a vision of the future from Corning Incorporated (reflections on A Day Made of Glass)
• Attend In-depth discussions by faculty about their uses of technology in the classroom with the Teaching and Learning with Technology Symposium that is part of Ed Tech Day
• Explore a major trade show with over 60 national, regional and local technology vendors in the Emerson Suites
• See what others are doing on campus at the College Showcase featuring IC faculty, staff and students showing how they are using technology in and out of the classroom

DISCUSS..IT SESSIONS

The Discuss..IT sessions provide an opportunity to chat with others who are interested in the same topic to share ideas, frustrations and solutions. The sessions will be facilitated by someone familiar with the topic, but the content will come from you. Many of the sessions are immediately following a featured session on the same topic, allowing you to continue to explore the topic with the featured session presenters in a less formal setting.
